About Us

Our origins

Our company was founded by Dr. Ohri after reading his MBA, and is named after his alma mater the London Business School, which is based in Regent's Park, London.

With 20 years of healthcare and business management experience, Dr. Ohri, believed there were efficiencies that an independent cardiology partner could bring to cardiology services. After working as a medical officer and surgeon in the British Army and the NHS, his last role was as CEO of the European joint venture arm of MedCath Corporation - a multi-billion dollar US cardiac services company with specialist heart hospitals, fixed-site cardiology centres and the largest fleet of mobile and modular cardiac catheterisation labs in the US. The business model in the US was one of partnership with leading hospitals and groups of cardiac specialists. Dr. Ohri recognised that a similar partnership approach, alongside the NHS, could dramatically improve patient services, while giving more autonomy and increased resources to hospitals and cardiologists. Regent's Park Heart Clinics was born.
